This Holistic Leadership learning experience prepares you to lead an organization that is energized and purpose driven and dares to work with the knowledge, wisdom and possibilities of the people within it and the people it serves by learning to:

deepen your understanding of yourself as a whole person, connect with your personal purpose and the essence from which you lead;
bring the principles and practices of holistic leadership to life within your organization through use of simple frameworks and tools, and;
create conditions that engage, and inspire leadership within your team and unleash creativity and energy to achieve exceptional performance.

This learning process attends to the interior condition of the leader and the organizational system, meaningful relationships and connections that ignite passion and practical and simple “how to” skills, tools and knowledge that bring possibilities into reality.

With the focus of the workshop on deepening your awareness of yourself as a leader and learning simple and practical tools and frameworks that engage the whole person, you will leave this workshop equipped to:

Identify and work with leadership archetypes.
Acknowledge and engage levels of consciousness – mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical and multiple learning styles.
Work more powerfully with the energies of the whole person – personally and organizationally.
Sustain your energy for leadership through personal health and balance.
Provide leadership to successfully navigate change in times when fear runs rampant, confidence is slipping, and it looks as if the road ahead will remain rough for many miles.
Continually deepen your leadership capacity and understanding of self as a leader – in all areas of your life.
Work with the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects of your organization.
Create conditions that will grow leadership and access creativity and performance needed for the evolution of your organization.

What to Expect

Our teaching model is rooted in experiential learning. The foundational facilitation process for the workshop is Whole Person Process Facilitation, which pays attention to the multidimensional human being including learning styles, different intelligences and levels of consciousness. This facilitation methodology creates conditions that maximize the learning of individual participants and also creates the opportunity for the emergence of collective learning.

This is a 6 day learning journey that includes pre-work, a residential workshop and follow-up coaching. Key activities include:

Pre-workshop 3-hour on-line introduction to Holistic Leadership that introduces participants to the Genuine Contact™ program and approach and the Medicine Wheel Tool© and invites participants to get ready for this learning journey by clarifying their intentions for learning.
5-day residential workshop including:

Exploring Leadership using the Genuine Contact™ approach – courage, authenticity, compassion, openness, and making connections with ancient wisdoms and contemporary science.
Discovering your purpose, vision and personal path for accessing your wisdom
Journeying with leadership archetypes
Making Genuine Contact with your whole self, the four levels of consciousness and your personal learning styles
Conscious and Open Personal Leadership – applying open space ingredients to your own life and sustaining energy for leadership
Conscious and Open Organizational Leadership - leading whole people, in healthy and balanced organizations.
Leadership practices for the 21st Century

1 hour follow-up individual coaching session
2 hour on-line coaching circle within three months of the residential component
Invitation to join in ongoing online mentoring to support you in working with this approach and its tools and processes.

Participants will make meaningful connections between their current knowledge and the powerful questions/challenges they are holding and the new information that is being worked with in the session – meeting people at their learning edge. The process invites participants to make genuine contact with themselves, others, the collective and the community – building relationships and new ways of working together during the workshop. This allows participants to mentor each other as they apply the learning.

Workshop Leadership

Michelle Cooper of Integral Visions Consulting Inc (Ancaster, ON), Donna Clark of Emergent Futures Consulting Inc (Halifax, NS) and Marquis Bureau of MBureau International Inc (Notre Dame de la Salette, QC) make up our facilitation team. They are authorized Genuine Contact™ Trainers and Co-Owners who have been working with the Program for a number of years. This partnership offers participants the opportunity to learn from Genuine Contact Professionals working across Canada and internationally in a variety of sectors. It also allows us to offer the Genuine Contact workshops both in English and French, providing participants with a unique and customized learning experience.
